London is a city in the South-East of England and it's the capital of the UK. It's in the bancks of the river Thames.
It was founded by the Romans in the 43 A.D. Its name was Londinium in Roman times.
There are important buildings like the Big Ben, the London eye (the big wheel) the palace of Buckingham (where the queen lives), the Tower bridge (the more important bridge of England) and other fantastics buildings that you can visit.
The people of London are called Londoners. Its surface is 1570 kilometers.
The population is about 8 173 194 now.
